24th March 22: Looking back at 2021

The picture above is my favourite St Francis picture of 2021. It's of one of our first cafés, held back in April when restrictions lifted enough for us to meet in the garden, and for me it summarises the joy of reconnecting, that much of 2021 was about.

Looking back is always good - we're reminded of God's faithfulness as we see how far we've come, and how much we have to be thankful for. Our Annual meeting next Sunday is a good opportunity to do just that as we look back at 2021, and we'll use that as a foundation to look ahead. In advance of that, our annual review and accounts is attached - do have a look and celebrate how much happened! Hard copies will be available in church on Sunday and the accounts will be displayed on the wall in the welcome area of church.

Please do join us if you're able - there's a bit of business to do, but the main aim is to celebrate our wonderfully diverse church family, where we've come from, where we're headed and above all, who we are as God's people in this place at this time! There are opportunities to join the church council too - please do get in touch with Sarah if you're interested.

And then join us for a church lunch together - more details on the next page.

Relaxing Covid restrictions in church

We're relaxing restrictions from this Sunday for those who want to - see p4 for more details and please contact Sarah to discuss if you're concerned.
