Today I spent a couple of hours with two classes of Year 3 students from St Francis School. They wanted to know what I do all day! It's from part of their curriculum, with this lesson aim:
'Invite a church leader to the lesson - Find clues from them about a Christian doing something extraordinary.'
The extraordinary things are what the members of a church family do (that's you) and it was great to be able to share that with the children - of how here at St Francis, as well as worshipping, we want to show our community what Jesus's love is like - through serving with a focus on hospitality and healing. Other questions included favourite colour, my age, and which of the teachers was my best friend.
