Last Sunday in the 10am service, Nick and I talked about homegroups and why they're worth it. Do get in touch with Nick ([email protected]) or myself if you'd like to know more.
So, why join a home group? They're a place where we can connect more deeply with each other and connect more deeply with Jesus: praying together and sharing life's disappointments and encouragements, studying the Bible and just doing life together. As the church grows in size, it's increasingly important that we have these places of connection with members of the church family. Nick and I shared how important they'd been in our lives over the years, as the place for pastoral support and prayer, as well as giving opportunities to grow in leadership, learning, and encountering God.
Over Lent we're planning a 5 session course on 'unanswered prayer' - a great opportunity to join a group. There are different evening and day time groups, and there's room to start a new group too, with support available! Do get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.
