‘Happy Easter’ doesn’t quite sum up the extraordinary events we’ll be thinking about and celebrating over the next few days, as we reflect on the last supper and agony of Gethsemane tonight, the crucifixion tomorrow, the silence of Saturday and anticipate Sunday’s joyful news! While I’ve been off (more on that on next page) - I enjoyed listening to worship music including an album from Brandon Lake, House of Miracles. Two songs especially stuck in my mind as we look to Easter, conveying something of the earth shattering, life-transforming difference that Jesus’ death and resurrection makes.
