I love Harvest Festival - from displays of fruit and veg to
the Harvest lunch together afterwards. I especially love
the straight forward opportunity to just be thankful for
all that God has given us, through creation and more!
We'll be thinking a bit about seeds at our 10am service -
which might seem strange - but of course there's no fruit
to harvest without planting seeds. And, since He lived in
a farming community, Jesus used lots of parables about
seeds, growth, and fruit.
Our Harvest offerings flow out of our gratitude to God
and we'll also be talking more about that on Sunday at
10. It would be great if you'd like to bring some sort of
Harvest offering too.
