We've enjoyed our Advent Service of Light, started to open the doors on our Advent calendars (just me?),
bought the tree (down from the attic) and put up a star in your window (you have, haven't you?!)... a few
decorations to remind us there's still plenty to celebrate. So, how can we share the joy and hope of the
season with those around us, especially as it won't be quite the same this year?
It's our virtual carol service a week on Sunday - why not invite your friends and neighbours to join in on
the link? It won't be an entirely traditional 9 lessons and carols, but will reflect the style of our morning
services. Carols by candlelight in your own front room? You'll be able to sing away to your heart's
content!
How about some outdoor carol singing? Restrictions allow it! Could you arrange that in your road, using
the WhatsApp and facebook groups we set up back in March and April? Or join us outside Tescos/
Cleveland Bay - to be arranged when we gauge interest. See page 4 for more details.
Our own Christmas elves (well, Fiona and team...) are preparing Christmas craft bags to give out to
children - do ask if you'd like one - or two! for family, friends or neighbours And we're getting ready to
share a brilliant Christmas treasure hunt with you too!
Who could we share a bit of Christmas with? Let's get inviting and praying that others may know the
comfort and joy that only Jesus can bring.
